Set in the heart of Golden Bay at the far north-west of New Zealand's South Island, the Resort is sandwiched between the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi national parks, both of which offer oustanding hiking opportunities.
With the island's best climate, Golden Bay has a well deserved reputation for the cruisy atmosphere and palm-fringed golden beaches. Along with kayaking, horse treks and scenic flights, the rivers are pristine and great for swimming.
Ideally located for those who want to wander beyond the compound, there's a good selection of cafés, restaurants, pubs, bars, museums, art & craft galleries and a movie theatre - far too much on offer to ignore.
Our guests are almost exclusively bi-curious and queer men. Salubrious with a soupcon of sin, the resort is clothing optional and naturist friendly.
A wide variety of accommodation options are available to suit all budgets. These include comfortable Lodge rooms, individual cabins, a dormitory/backpacker style bunkhouse and a campground with plenty of great sites for your tent or campervan amid the tranquility of the award-winning sub-tropical gardens.
Open all year round, day visitors are also welcome to come and meet the lads and have a look around (a $10 fee applies for casual use of the facilities).
During the summer months the resort hosts the internationally renowned annual Summer Camps, Naked Weeks and House Party Weekends
We also welcome enquiries from charming volunteers who would like to work during their stay.
