Autumn Farm really is a special place - a gay homestay with a difference. Open every day of the year, we welcome gays, lesbians and everything inbetween to share our little piece of paradise.
We have a variety of accommodation options to suit your budget from sumptuously decorated private double rooms to simple dormitory/backpacker style accomodation. You are welcome to pitch a tent or park up your camper van in our beautiful gardens. We also welcome Wwoofers who wish to work during their stay.

Home to a community of men with deep roots in the artistic and environmental movements - there is something magical about our home. Enjoy great company, healthy food and our beautiful grounds. Take your time to explore our ten acres of award-winning and spacious gardens. Or just kick back and relax in our famous bush bath.
During the summer months, Autumn Farm hosts three popular annual events - Summer Camp, Naked Week, and Naked Week Plus.
Why not use Autumn Farm as a base to explore New Zealand? Set in the Takaka Valley in Golden Bay, our beautiful farm is sandwiched between two national parks - the Abel Tasman and the Kaharungi (both with fabulous hiking opportunities). With some of the best weather in New Zealand, Golden Bay has a reputation for its laid back atmosphere and its endless golden beaches. Our rivers are pristine and great for swimming. Many people come to Golden Bay for a holiday - some never leave !
